Shannon McCaw has been a classroom teacher in the Newberg and Parkrose School Districts in Oregon. She has been trained in professional learning communities, differentiated instruction and Critical Friends. Shannon currently works as a consultant with math teachers from over 100 districts around Oregon. Shannon’s areas of expertise include the Common Core State Standards, curriculum alignment, assessment best practices, interventions and instructional strategies. She has a degree in Mathematics from George Fox University and a Masters of Arts in Secondary Math Education from Colorado College.
