POSITION:
• .6 FTE Elementary Special Education Teacher

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
 190-day contract and other conditions and benefits as set in the job description and master agreement.
 Special Education Stipend of $2,269.20 available, per contract, for employees with the Special Education endorsement.
SALARY:
 Based on previous experience and placement on the Master Agreement Salary Schedule.
STARTING DATE:
 August 27, 2018

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Provide instruction and behavior supports in a structured, self-contained classroom with targeted students.
 Provide core instruction to a small group of students with disabilities half the day.
 Serve private schools four hours weekly from pre-referral activities to eligibility determinations and development of service plans.
 Other responsibilities are listed on the Job Description in the Application Packet.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 Valid Oregon Teaching License with a Special Education Endorsement; and
 Valid First Aid Card as requested by Principal.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 Prior job-related experience.
 Experience in a special education classroom.
 ESOL endorsement and/or completion of ESOL classes.
 Bilingual: English/Spanish or Russian.
