OSBA is offering a mock interview service for administrators who are considering pursuing an executive-level position.

Research indicates that lasting impressions are created during the first 10 seconds of meeting a person, and this service is intended to help candidates make a strong first impression and then build on it with enhanced interview skills.  As part of the service, OSBA staff will conduct a customized mock interview, then share tips on how to improve your approach.  The interviews, which can be conducted in person or through cloud videoconferencing, include the following:

• Phone consultation with a lead executive search consultant
• Sample questions provided electronically
• 30-minute mock session with trained interviewers, including previous superintendents and experienced administrators
• 30-minute feedback, highlighting strengths and areas needing improvement
• Video recording of mock interview
