General Information

Willamette Education Service District is accepting applications for a full-time (40 hours per week) Allied Healthcare Ambassador position. Successful candidate will work as a member of the Willamette Career Academy, part of the School Improvement Services Department, and will follow a 250-day calendar. This position will be based at the Willamette ESD Willamette Career Academy in Salem, OR and will begin as soon as possible upon conclusion of the selection process.

Salary and Benefits

- This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) Classified position represented by the Oregon School Employees Association.
- Placement on the Willamette ESD Classified Salary Schedule Range 17, Step 1-6; ($24.10-$30.72 per hour) will be commensurate with applicant’s qualifications, relevant training and experience.
- Willamette ESD supports payment for health, dental and vision insurance premiums for eligible employees. Employer-paid PERS, holidays, sick leave, and personal days are also provided to eligible employees.

JOB SUMMARY

The Allied Health Ambassador at Willamette Career Academy (WCA) supports WCA Health and Dental Sciences students in earning industry recognized and stackable credentials in the healthcare field. The Allied Health Ambassador will play a key partnership role in facilitating internship and training opportunities with Healthcare partners for WCA students on-site at the career academy and in the field.

The WCA harnesses the power of connection and collaboration to become a regional hub for career/technical education and innovation. The programs services and provides equitable access to students and business and industry partners from across Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. The WCA is designed to emphasize innovation, informed by students and industry input.
