Jimmy Brehm

Jimmy Brehm is the Senior Vice President of Academic Partnerships at Carnegie Learning. Jimmy works to increase student achievement across the county by creating and growing academic partnerships that lead to high levels of learning through goal-aligned, high-quality instructional resources and services.

Before moving to work with districts nationally, Jimmy Brehm served as the Chief Academic Officer at Woodford County Schools in Kentucky and Director of Curriculum and Assessment at Fayette County Public Schools. He has over 18 years of experience in public education, excelling in district leadership and school leadership roles and as a teacher at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.

Jimmy started his career as a 5th-grade classroom teacher at Nicholasville Elementary School in Jessamine County, Kentucky.  As a former principal and Director of Curriculum in Fayette County Schools and Chief Academic Officer at Woodford County Schools, Jimmy moved his school from the 27th percentile to the 95th in just three years. Over his tenure as CAO, Jimmy grew student achievement to place his district as the 5th highest-achieving district in the state and the top-performing county school system.
