Parkrose's Molly Ouche named Middle School Principal of the Year
Molly Ouche has been named the Oregon Middle School Principal of the Year by the Oregon Association of Secondary School Administrators and the Coalition of Oregon School Administrators. Molly serves as Principal for Parkrose Middle School in Portland.
Molly came to Parkrose School District in 2000 when she started her Parkrose career as a 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher. In 2007 she became Assistant Principal of Parkrose Middle School and in 2009 she moved on to Principal of Parkrose Middle School.
“This award is truly a reflection of the hard work and commitment of the staff and students at Parkrose Middle School, who I am extremely fortunate to work with. I appreciate and am deeply humbled by the recognition of all of our efforts,” Molly said.
Parkrose Middle School is a National AVID Demonstration Site and a level 4/5 middle school.
"With all of her years of hard work, steadfast vision and strategic leadership, Principal Ouche has been a great leader at the helm of Parkrose Middle School," Parkrose Superintendent Karen Gray said. "She and her fantastic assistant principal, Annette Sweeney, have made all of us in Parkrose very proud. We congratulate all of the staff at Parkrose Middle School for what they have achieved together."
