COSA announces new partnership agreement with Learning.com

The Coalition of Oregon School Administrators (COSA) today announced a new partnership agreement with Learning.com.

Learning.com is headquartered in Portland and has been helping students, teachers, and schools excel in our digital world for more than 15 years. Districts around the country use Learning.com’s curriculum and assessments to equip their students with the technology skills they need to be good digital citizens, succeed on online assessments, and prepare for college and career.

The findings from the recent Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Field Test indicated that to be prepared, our Oregon students need more opportunities to develop and strengthen their keyboarding and word processing skills. Learning.com’s digital literacy curriculum specifically targets these and the other technology skills students need to succeed on the SBAC.

“Oregon students will take the SBAC this spring,” said Keith Oelrich, CEO of Learning.com. “Learning.com is committed to assisting districts throughout our home state of Oregon to ensure our students are prepared with the digital literacy skills they need for success. We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with COSA and their membership on this important initiative.”

Learning.com resources are available immediately to begin working with districts throughout Oregon and will be offering discounted pricing to all COSA members.
