Description: We are seeking a PE/Health teacher to work with student grades K-8 1.5 days a week. Ideally this candidate would work Tuesday-Wednesday. The ideal candidate will have experience with both classroom teaching and working outdoors with students. It is essential that our teachers have strong classroom management skills and are excited to work with a small, collaborative staff and school community. (If interested, this teacher would also be able to substitute regularly on Mondays and Fridays)

Qualifications
Knowledge of best practices in teaching;
Experience in differentiation and inclusion for student with special needs;
Masters Degree preferred;
Oregon teaching license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements
Experience working with students in nature-based settings
Background knowledge in natural and/or environmental sciences
Compensation: Base salary range for .4 FTE ($16,250-$32,000) paid over 12 months with benefits (staff development funds, health/vision/dental insurance & PERS (when eligible)
