Choir Teacher, Grades 7-12

This position is split between Tillamook High School and Tillamook Junior High School

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher
Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission
Hold an endorsement in Music, authorization level of 7-12
Must be considered a Highly Qualified teacher by TSPC and/or ODE standards
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Start Date – August 2025
1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
2025/26 school year base salary $47,048 – $87,523 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

$140/month contributed to HRA VEBA to help offset out of pocket medical expenses
Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
$500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance
District paid employee contribution to PERS (Public Employees Retirement System)
TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
