Dual Language Teacher (3rd Grade), 2025/26 School Year

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Valid Oregon Teaching License through TSPC
• Communicate (speaking and writing) clearly in both English and Spanish
• Endorsement in Elementary - Multiple Subjects
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Understand and follow Standards for Competent and Ethical Performance of Oregon Educators

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

• Estimated start date – August 2025
• 1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
• 2025/26 school year base salary $47,048 - $87,523 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Excellent fringe benefits
o $30/month fee for full family insurance (medical, dental, vision)
o $140/month contributed to HRA VEBA to help offset out of pocket medical expenses
 Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
o $500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance
• District paid employee contribution to PERS (Public Employees Retirement System)
o TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
• 403 (b) Supplemental Retirement Saving Opportunities
