The St. Helens School district is nestled along the scenic Columbia River, 29 miles from downtown Portland.
We are doing exciting work in St. Helens: Adopting the 5D+ evaluation rubric from the Center for Educational Leadership. Investing in all schools with RTI training modeled after the Solution Tree philosophy. All schools use AVID strategies. Employing Conscious Discipline at all levels. Embarking on a new three (3) year Strategic Plan with goals that encompass; Student Preparation for Success, Inclusive Climate and Culture as well as High-Quality Instruction. We are seeking a visionary, strategic, and empowering leader for the St. Helens School District.
Our district has seven (7) schools with an enrollment of 2400 students.
