Location: Springwater Environmental Sciences School
Description: We are seeking a 1st grade teacher who is passionate about conducting fieldwork, building community partnerships and writing innovative, science centered place-based curriculum. This position will be temporary to fill in for the leave of our current classroom teacher. Students regularly leave school to use the environment and surrounding area as a classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience with both classroom teaching and outdoor environmental and science education. It is essential that our teachers have strong classroom management skills and are excited to work with a small, collaborative staff and school community.
