QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
• Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
• Hold or be able to add an endorsement in Language Arts.
• Working knowledge of technology and computer literacy is preferred.
• Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Professional educator with a passion for the content and an ability to inspire students
• Ability to actively engage all students in the learning process
• Experience with trauma informed and culturally/linguistically relevant practices
• Interest in supporting student development beyond the classroom (coach, mentor, club sponsor) is appreciated
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
• Estimated start date – December 19, 2024
• 1.0 FTE – 190-day contract
• 2024/25 school year, base salary $44,595 – $80,544 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
