Willamina School District is seeking a SPED II Instructional assistant to assist a student on a one one basis. This is a full-time position 7 hrs a day. Half of the day will be with the student in supportive learning environment off campus and the other half will be on the district campus. The Special Education Assistant II assists teachers in the delivery of educational and behavioral interventions and also assists in the general education classrooms with the goal of helping students reach their educational goals. SPED Assistants may provide a variety of support an assistance and should be flexible adjusting to student needs. A complete job description is available upon request.
The Willamina Classified bargaining agreement outlines an annual salary range from $16.78-$20.83 per hour. Other benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance and options for other supplemental available, employer paid PERS and 11 paid holidays as well as a generous package of personal leave and sick leave as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Associate's degree require or passing the Paraprofessional Exam that is given through the district
