Position Details:
Title: School Counselor - 2024-2025 School Year
Placement (location): Upper Rogue Center for Educational Opportunties (URCEO), Eagle Point OR
Supervisor: Principal or designee
Contract Days: 194/193 days to begin August 22, 2024
Salary Range: $45,635 - $89,065 plus master's stipend of $2,282 (Salary based on full time rate which is depending upon approved previous experience and graduate level credits.)

Description:
This position requires a Master’s Degree in School Counseling, Counseling, Social Work or related field, a Valid Counseling Certificate from Teacher Standards and Practices, a Valid Oregon Driver’s License and personal transportation, and the ability to pass a criminal background check.

The Upper Rogue Center for Educational Opportunities (URCEO) offers options for tailoring 6-12 student's educational experience to best suit their needs. URCEO's mission is to serve the diverse learners of our community by providing a quality virtual educational experience for all 6-12 students to ensure their success in an ever changing world.

General Expectations:
This School Counselor coordinates a comprehensive guidance and counseling program for students enrolled at Upper Rogue Center for Educational Opportunities based on the Oregon Framework for School Counseling Programs and its components and provides services to all students in the academic, career, community involvement and personal/social domains. The School Counselor also assists students in dealing with special problems and needs as well as the development of personal/social behaviors.
