Minimum Qualifications: Oregon Teaching License with appropriate endorsements.
Position Status: This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, licensed position with a contract for the 2024-2025 School Year.
2024-25 Contracted Highlights Include:

COLA of 5% / District Paid 6% PERS PickUp
186 Day Calendar / 6 Paid Holidays
3 Personal Days Annually (paid out at end of year if not used) / 12 Days Sick Leave Annually
$1,525.00 monthly District insurance contribution for medical / dental / vision premiums
$345.00 monthly Health Savings Account District contribution with enrollment in qualified high deductible medical plan
Annual tuition reimbursement for amount equal to 3 credits at the Portland State University rate

Job Responsibilities:
Develop an instructional program of study that meets all students’ needs.
Create an environment that is conducive to learning.
Demonstrate positive, effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, based on the Common Core State Standards
Establish clear objectives for all instruction, communicating them to students and parents.
Implement engaging, student centered instructional activities.
Enthusiasm for school improvement and change.
