Math Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Hold an Oregon Teaching License through TSPC.
Middle School (grades 7-8) Basic Math endorsement required, Advanced Math endorsement is a plus.
Must be considered Highly Qualified (HQ) by Teacher Standards Practices Commission (TSPC) and/or Oregon Department of Education (ODE).
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Estimated start date – August 23, 2024 (new staff orientation)
1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
2024/25 school year, base salary $44,595 – $80,544 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Total insurance benefit package of over $21,000 annually
$500/month cash stipend if you have other insurance and waive district insurance

TSD9 covers the full 6% for PERS retirement
