Minimum Qualifications: License: Possess a valid Oregon Teaching license with Special Education endorsement and/or experience preferred.
Position Status: This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, licensed position with a contract for the 2024-25 School Year.

Job Responsibilities:
Assess student behavioral needs, then develop and implement behavioral plans for IEP and general education students
Implement all relevant regulations under IDEA '97
Plan, administer and implement in cooperation with other classroom and SpEd teachers an appropriate instructional program of study that meets individual student needs
Develop and implement I.E.P.s
Maintain an up-to-date special education and confidential file for each identified student
Demonstrate effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents
Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals
Desire to create the least restrictive environment with an inclusion model of accommodations
Enthusiasm for school improvement and change
Team player with ability to adapt to change
Coordinate and supervise instructional support staff duties.
