Summary: Provides support to the Assistant Director of Special Education with the leadership of special education department programs consistent with federal and state laws, rules and regulations, and district policies and procedures. Assists the Assistant Director in school administration and department-specific programs and services that allow students requiring additional support or special education services to access the general education curriculum in the least restrictive environment while meeting their individual educational needs. Provide job-embedded and ongoing professional learning, including individual coaching, coaching of collaborative teams, and large group training.
