QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Hold an Oregon Teaching License through Teacher Standards & Practices Commission.
Hold or be able to add an endorsement in Science – Biology and Chemistry preferred
Working knowledge of technology and computer literacy is preferred.
Ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Professional educator with a passion for the content and an ability to inspire students
Ability to actively engage all students in the learning process
Experience with trauma informed and culturally/linguistically relevant practices
Interest in supporting student development beyond the classroom (coach, mentor, club sponsor) is appreciated
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Estimated start date – August 2025
1.0 FTE – 190-day contract (191-day for new teachers)
2025/26 school year base salary $47,048 - $87,523 depending on years of teaching experience and college credits as per the TEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
