Position Details:
Title: School Psychologist for 2024 - 2025 School Year
Placement (location): District Wide- based at Table Rock Elementary School, White City, OR
Supervisor: Principal and/or designee
Contract Days: 193/194 days per year, 8hr/day
Salary Range: $61,732 - $101,934 (depending upon approved previous experience)
Position Closing Date: Open until filled, screening to begin as soon as possible
This position requires:
Master’s degree in school/educational psychology from an accredited college or university
Personnel Services License with School Psychologist Endorsement from the Oregon Teacher Standards Practice Commission and or the ability to obtain same license prior to the start date.
Oregon Driver’s License and personal transportation.
General Expectations:
The ideal applicant will provide support and services to students, staff and patrons in all areas of student learning, development, emotional growth and behavior. The School Psychologist performs expert assessments of student needs, as well as the determination of the services, methods and instruments necessary to address identified areas of need.
A desire to collaborate with other educators and agencies, as well as the ability to maintain and adapt to meet the ever changing needs of our students is required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable using a variety of pedagogical and assessment tools, have a passion for educating ALL STUDENTS, and a willingness to be involved in the school community beyond the classroom setting.
