Dallas School District is accepting applications for full-time Special Education Teachers.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities preferred.
Collaborate with parents, staff, and other members of the team to develop IEP's for each student.
Experience managing IEPs and Behavior Support Plans.
Participates in the eligibility process for individual students.
Ability to manage individual student needs in multiple academic settings.
Experience providing specially designed instruction for social-emotional/behavioral learning.
Assess student achievement on an ongoing basis.
Ability to direct paraprofessionals in a wide range of student ability levels.
Ability to design and implement individual and small group instruction in a functional academic setting.
Strong communication skills.
