GENERAL DUTIES SUMMARY:
Tigard Tualatin School District is committed to equitable outcomes for all students especially for those that are underserved. The Athletic Director will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and supervising
all athletics events involving the assigned school(s). The position of Assistant Principal supports the building principal in the day-to-day operations of the building and overall school programs in achieving this goal.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As assigned by the principal, the assistant principal may be responsible for the planning, directing, monitoring and/or supervising of activities or programming in instruction, attendance, student management, fiscal management, facilities maintenance, and the evaluation of staff associated with these activities or programs. Serves under the broad guidance and administrative supervision of the school principal. Is responsible for quality, effectiveness, and smooth and efficient operation of the school’s athletic program. Work is guided by, and must be in compliance with, the state regulating agency, operational direction of District leadership, policy direction of the School Board, and compliance with state and local regulatory agencies.
