The Mitchell School District in beautiful central Oregon is in need of a one-year temporary language arts teacher. The teacher will teach high school language arts as well as two elective courses which will be determined in consultation with the superintendent/principal. Mitchell School has an enrollment of 45 students in grades K-12 including eight international students who will live in our on campus dormitory. We provided fully onsite instruction in the 20-21 school year and we will continue to do so this year.
Our class sizes are very small and our students are wonderful. We have very few discipline issues throughout the year and our climate and culture are very positive. Our main building was built in 1985 and we have a fully functioning filtered heating and cooling system which provides a comfortable and safe environment for kids and staff in regards to air circulation and filtering.
