Send a team to this one-day workshop, and learn to develop or select assessments reflective of each teacher’s assigned instructional responsibilities for pre/post use in documenting student growth.  All materials, (including Rick’s latest book, Classroom Assessment for Student Learning: Doing It Right, Using It Well, 2nd Ed.) and lunch are included in the registration fee.

The purpose of this workshop is to show school district teams how to promote a deeper understanding of the standards of assessment quality that will be required in the teacher evaluation context.  Rick will review the keys to quality, provide participants with experience in applying them, and describe the learning team process built into ATI materials – including Rick’s latest book.  He also will discuss how to involve more teachers and school leaders in the professional development process.  It promises to be a fun, productive and anxiety reducing day.
