2020 Dare to Lead (Virtual)
Oregon Educators Dare to Lead Virtual Workshop
At the center of any school or district's effectiveness are the connections between the people who work there and between staff and families/students. Bravespace workplaces leverage flexibility, courage, and self-awareness to create an environment where people can show up every day, as they are, and do great things together. The world is desperate for stronger partnerships and more courageous cultures.
We believe a leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes, and who has the courage to develop that potential. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program offering leaders skills for having hard conversations, holding themselves and others accountable, leading with empathy and connection, taking smart risks that lead to innovation, building trust, resetting quickly after disappointments and setbacks, and giving and receiving feedback – even when it’s tough. Especially when it’s tough. Certified Facilitator Moe Carrick provides her unique, energetic, and practical lens of these critical skills for leaders in any role. Don't miss this chance to learn and practice tools that materially will improve your capacity to partner and to lead.
In the context of the COVID-19 Pandemic, this workshop series will be hosted virtually via Zoom in 4, 3.5 hour weekly sessions. There will be high engagement in small group break-outs and homework in between sessions.
