Sean serves works in Bend La Pine Schools, where he has served in special education administration for the past 10 years.  His current role is Executive Director for Student Services in Bend – La Pine Schools.  Sean worked as a school psychologist in his early career and supported the planning and implementation of RtI for eligibility for Specific Learning Disability.  He has continued to advocate for and support the expansion of MTSS as a pathway for school improvement and decision making.  Sean’s later work has involved the integration of trauma informed practices into all dimensions of the district climate and culture, including tier one social and emotional instruction, an expansion of school based mental health programs, tier three mental health interventions, and restorative practices.
