Lori has serve in the St. Helens School District for the past 23 years as a Special Education Teacher, a Special Education Coordinator, and for the past 8 years as the Director of Student Services. Her passion is working and advocating for students who have been historically marginalized.  As the Director, she supports Special Education, 504 Plans, English Language Learners, and Nursing Services. She oversees the district’s Title I-A, II-A, and IV-A Plans. Additoanlly, she collaborate and works with others on a variety of teams like Strategic Planning, Negotiations (Classified and Licensed), Student Investment Account, First Responders, Threat Assessment, Family Resource Handbook Team, and Leadership.

In her free time, she enjosy riding class IV off-road vehicles (Quads), camping, hiking, yoga (fun fact, she is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher), gardening, creating art, and spending time with family and friends in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
