Jason Hobson currently serves as the Student Services Director for the Estacada School District and has been in that role for the past seven years. Prior to his directorship, he spent three years as an Instructional Coach, four years as a Learning Specialist in a high school, and four years as a Learning Specialist in a middle school. Jason helped lead the Estacada School District in their journey to more inclusive school experiences.

Jason holds an M.S. in Education from Concordia University - Portland, and has Lewis and Clark’s Special Education and Administrator Endorsements. He also has the Professional Administrator and Educational Leadership Endorsement from Concordia University - Chicago.  His work is rooted in a sincere desire to improve the lives of the students served by special education that he’s responsible for, and to ensure that every student gets the education they’re entitled to. Before returning to school for his master’s degree, he worked for the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation in outdoor education and advocacy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors as much as possible.
