Combine enthusiasm, passion, and fun, and you have Jami Fluke. In her 25th year in education, Jami has taught elementary, middle, and alternative school, and is currently serving as the Principal of Dayton Junior High and High School. Jami is setting a new standard for how to lead, inspire, and empower others. A pioneer in the education space, Jami is driven by a mission to re-imagine the learning experience for all students so they are inspired to be the best versions of themselves.

Jami is an instructional leader with a passion for people, learning, and making a difference. A self-described nerd, Jami is a principal who is committed to her students and staff. She has spent the last several years creating a school culture where others feel safe to be innovative and take risks, are inspired to learn from each other, and are empowered to make positive change in their school, community and world.

Jami's role as mom is her top priority and she enjoys sharing time in the outdoors or relaxing by a body of water with family and friends for hours.  Those that know her can find her in a crowded room by her distinctive laugh. Recently, Jami started brewing her own Kombucha!
