Supporting Mental and Behavioral Health In Our Schools: Approaches That Support Students, Staff, and Families

In this session, participants will learn about:

  1. Addressing mental and behavioral health in Oregon schools, with a focus on the family check-up online, a model for implementation including research and outcomes,
  2. Improving the implementation of evidence-based practices for classified staff: learn about the active ingredients of effective and ongoing professional development (PD) for classified staff with a menu of considerations to enhance the likelihood of classified staff generalizing skills into practice.
  3. Behavioral health research in the U of O College of Education and our interests and forming collaborative relationships with practitioners.
