Becky Imler Wells

Becky Imler Wells was a public educator for 41 years before retiring in 2019. In 2020 she joined the Cognia team as their Director of Client Services for Washington and Oregon. During her career she was a special education teacher, elementary principal, special programs director, special education director and superintendent. She has an extensive background in special education, including developing programs for students with autism, and other support programs like LAP, Title I, Migrant and Bilingual. Her experience has been in rural and urban districts in Eastern Washington. Ms. Wells is a graduate of Eastern Washington University with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology: Special Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership.  She completed her superintendent program at Gonzaga University.  Ms. Wells has served as an ESD legislative representative, member of NAFIS (National Association of Federally Impacted Schools) advocating in our Nation’s capital, and been the recipient of the WASA ESD 105 Student Achievement Leadership Award in 2012 and 2019.
